Despite being 30 years old, the exhaust was in very good shape. A tiny bit of rust on the downpipes, and a rusted collector, which is normal. Structurally, everything was in great shape. Most of the work was done cleaning up and painting the collector. You can read about that in the cleanup section. In a later stadium, as I went all-out, I added an O2 sensor bung, and sensor, check the "fuel supply and carburetion" section for that.
