INTRO
In April 2013, I bought a used bike, with the initial goal to have it roadworthy as soon as possible, and learn something on the way.
Little did I know that this would escalate into one hell of a project, really soon.
I love the cheesy looks of these bikes, and the last thing on my mind was to make it into another cafe project.
At first, the focus was to just give it a quick overhaul and be done with it. Gradually, the focus shifted into making this machine as reliable and performant for day-to-day use as I could, while preserving the looks, turning it into a little "sleeper" bike. For a breakdown of individual mods, scroll down or select the major components from the menu.
Please excuse me for the quality of some of the pictures. All of the pictures on this site were taken with a mobile phone camera. The first batch was taken with a HTC One S, the latter with an LG Nexus 5.
